Tibetan Mala Bead Scissor Fob

Jo has made this 5 1/4" long scissor fob from an assortment of rich, organic looking beads. The largest bead is from a Tibetan Buddhist prayer mala. This mala bead is made from Yak bone which has been dyed a deep red and inlayed with turquoise and coral chips. It is surrounded by an assortment of other carved bone beads. The three dangles are made from tiny African clay beads, turquoise tubes and garnets. The remainder of the fob is strung with carved bone, turquoise and garnets.
