Myrtlewood Giraffe Pattern Lace Tatting Shuttle

As Dave was burn etching this Giraffe pattern on a crochet hook, he thought it would also make an interesting pattern on a tatting shuttle! This shuttle is made from Oregon Myrtlewood and is 2 5/8 inches long. The Giraffe pattern is burn etched on both sides. Dave used a tiny burning tip to make hundreds of tiny burn dimples giving this a very nice feel and grip in the hands and it will not go slipping out of your hands. This tatting shuttle has been initialed and dated by Dave and is currently up for auction on Ebay.
