Brass Picot Gauge Set with Case


Dave has crafted this picot gauge set from round brass tubing. The sizes are 1/16, 1/8, 3/16, and ¼ inches. The set also includes a scribed 2 inch flat brass ruler. The gauges slide inside each other and fit nicely inside the 3 ½ inch Oregon myrtlewood burl case. Burl wood has unique patterns made by nature and cannot be duplicated. Each piece of burl is one of a kind.

Brass Picot Gauge Set with Case for Lace Making


Dave has handcrafted this lace making picot gauge set from brass and the case is Holy Land olive wood. The beautiful case measures about 3 ¼ inches long. The brass gauges are 1/16, 1/8, 3/16 and ¼ inch round tubes that all slide together to fit neatly in the case. He has also added a 2 inch picot gauge ruler that also fits in the case with the tube gauges. This unique picot gauge set is currently up for auction on Ebay.

Brass Picot Gauge Set with Cocobolo Case


After a break for the holidays, Dave is getting his auction listings back up and running. He's also been having a lot of fun making new friends over at the Ravelry.com site.
Several of you had asked Dave when he would be crafting another of his brass picot gauge sets. This one's a beauty! The case is Cocobolo wood and measures 3 ¼ inch long. The gauges are brass 1/16, 1/8, 3/16 and ¼ inch round tubes that all slide together to fit neatly in the case.
