Imitation Tortoise Lace Patter Pricker Pin Vise
Dave crafted this lace pattern pricker pin vise out of acrylic imitation tortoise shell. It measures approximately 2 ¼ inches long overall and is currently up for auction on Ebay.
Brass Picot Gauge Set with Case for Lace Making
Dave has handcrafted this lace making picot gauge set from brass and the case is Holy Land olive wood. The beautiful case measures about 3 ¼ inches long. The brass gauges are 1/16, 1/8, 3/16 and ¼ inch round tubes that all slide together to fit neatly in the case. He has also added a 2 inch picot gauge ruler that also fits in the case with the tube gauges. This unique picot gauge set is currently up for auction on Ebay.

Pear Whorl Takli Maple Burl and Walnut Support Drop Spindle
This pear whorl Takli support spindle measures about 11 1/2 inches long and weights about 1.2 ounces. The whorl was turned from a beautiful piece of Big Leaf Maple Burl and the shaft from Walnut. Cobalt blue celluloid accent rings have been added for a pop of color. Dave has also added a brass hook so you can use this spindle as either a supported spindle or a drop spindle.

Pear Whorl Takli Walnut and Maple Support Drop Spindle
This pear whorl Takli support spindle measures about 11 1/2 inches long and weights about 1.2 ounces. The whorl was turned from a beautiful piece of Walnut and the shaft from Maple. Ceramic and Honduras Rosewood Low Profile Mini Support Spinning Bowl
This is a new version of our ceramic and wood support spinning bowl--the low profile mini! The ceramic insert of our low profile mini bowl measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter, and the Honduras Rosewood base is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. This mini bowl is 7/8 inches high. Cork has been added to the bottom to keep the wood from scratching other hard surfaces.

Two New Ceramic and Wood Support Spinning Bowls
We have just added two new ceramic and wood support spinning bowls to our Etsy shop. The first, has a beautiful blue glazed ceramic inner bowl that has been inset into a white ash base. The second, features a gorgeous green glazed ceramic inner bowl that has been inset into a stunning spalted maple base. Ceramic and Oregon Myrtlewood Lap Support Spinning Bowl
This ceramic bowl measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter, and the Oregon myrtlewood base is approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter and 6 3/4 inches in length. Purple glaze was used on the earthenware clay inner bowl. No two pieces ever come out of the kiln the same. Additional photos can be found in our Etsy shop.

Created at the request of one of our wonderful patrons, this Tibetan support spindle is approximately 11 inches long and weighs 59g (2.0 ounces). The Cocobolo whorl has been attached to an Ebony shaft. The Ebony tip has been accented with fossil mammoth ivory.
Cocobolo and East Indian Rosewood Tibetan Support Spindle
This Tibetan support spindle is approximately 12 1/4 inches long and weighs 50g (1.8 ounces). The 2 inch whorl has been crafted from East Indian Rosewood and has been attached to a Cocobolo shaft. Additional photos can be found at the Etsy listing.
Goncalo Alves, Birch and Mesquite Tibetan Support Spindle

Ceramic Support Spinning Bowl
This beautiful blue support spinning bowl measures 3 inches in diameter across the bottom with a recessed well to support the spindle on top. We are making our support spinning bowls in a variety of glazes and no two pieces ever come out of the kiln the same. This earthy blue support bowl is one of my favorites and can be found in our Grizzly Mountain Arts Etsy Shop.

Handcrafted Tiger Maple Wood Tatting Shuttle
Dave crafted this 3 1/4 inch tatting shuttle from a piece of beautiful Tiger Maple. I think you can see why its called Tiger Maple. The patterns seem to change with the different angles of the light hitting it. Dave also went through my stash of vintage buttons and found one that looked like a little piece of tatting, so he carved a recess and inset it into this shuttle. Bone Toothbrush Rug Needle
Dave crafted this beautiful toothbrush rug needle from bone. Originally, this style of rug needle was made from old toothbrushes, that is until they stopped making them with a hole in the handle. More photos of this needle may been seen at the Etsy listing.
Walnut French Reproduction Support Spindle with Fossil Walrus Ivory
Walnut is the wood that Dave chose for this beautiful French reproduction supported spindle. This spindle measures 12 inches long and weights 1.8 (52g) ounces. Dave has adorned this spindle with fossil walrus ivory accents. This spindle also features a groove and slot style tip for holding the yarn twist.
