Dave has hand crafted this 2 ½ inch lace bobbin tatting shuttle out of "Antiqued Golden" celluloid. It has a #14 steel crochet hook inset in the nose. The removable bobbin is a Singer Class 66 plastic bobbin available in a 4 pack at Walmart or other sewing supply store. The tension on the bobbin is adjustable with the axel screw to prevent it from free wheeling.
